Herald for glasses

On the Meta AI phone app, open your glasses' web apps → add a new connection, then:

1. Tap Copy title on a card and paste it into the title field
2. Tap Copy link and paste it into the URL field
3. Save — it launches right on the display (D-pad to move, tap to select)

Meta doesn't allow apps to add themselves, so this is the fewest steps possible — no typing, just two pastes.

The glasses show a 6-character code. On your phone:

1. Open herald.ascents.gg
2. Type the code from the glasses
3. Sign in to Discord, Reddit or YouTube (Augur needs no login)

Your tokens stay on the server — never on the glasses. Manage everything at herald.ascents.gg/app.

Required for the Discord app — Herald can only show channels & messages from servers where the bot is also a member. The bot is read-only: it can View Channels and Read Message History, nothing else. It can't send messages, kick anyone, or change settings.

1. Add Herald bot to a server → (Discord opens; pick the server you own / can manage)
2. Confirm the read-only permissions on Discord's screen
3. Back on the glasses, the Discord app will list that server

Don't own the server? Ask its owner to invite the Herald bot — the same link works for any server they manage.
