About
Classic Battleship against one friend, async and turn-based. Share a code (no accounts, no login — just an ephemeral device id and the code you both type). Each of you gets a secret fleet — Carrier, Battleship, Cruiser, Submarine, Destroyer — on your own 10×10 grid (reshuffle the layout until you like it, then confirm), then take turns firing one shot at a time. The server is fully authoritative and fog-of-war honest: it holds both fleets so hits, sinkings and the win can’t be faked, and it never reveals an enemy cell to you (or to a spectator) until you’ve actually fired there. Play resumes whenever either of you looks back in; the game lives in memory with a 60-minute idle expiry.
Features
  • Real two-player Battleship over a shared code
  • Secret fleet — reshuffle a valid layout, then confirm
  • Server-authoritative hits/sunk/win — uncheatable, fog-of-war honest
  • Honest turn/waiting states; resume any time
  • No accounts/PII · ephemeral · nothing stored after idle
Good to know
  • Needs internet (both players reach the relay)
  • One game per code; ~60-min idle expiry
  • Casual: no reconnection grace if the code expires mid-game
  • Spectators see only the public score, never a fleet
