About
Govee lights on the Display — your strips, bulbs and panels. Shell-only for now: the app screen, icon and launcher entry are live so you can install it, and the empty state walks you through Govee's API-key flow on your phone (Govee Home → Profile → Settings → Apply for API Key). The actual key exchange + on/off endpoints land in the next pass.

Backend not wired yet. The app is installed and launchable on your glasses, but the live data side (Govee integration) isn't online yet. Tapping the app today lands on a friendly empty state with the link-on-companion steps. Once the credentials are wired on the server, the same app will start showing real data — no reinstall needed.

Data safety
No third-party sharing. Herald doesn't sell or share your data, and there are no ads or trackers.
Minimal collection. Only what a linked service needs — provider tokens are encrypted on Herald's server and never stored on the glasses.
Encrypted in transit. All traffic is HTTPS.
You're in control. Disconnect any linked service at any time from the companion.
