About
Your Philips Hue lights on the Display, direct via Hue's official Remote API. You link once: open Hue on the glasses, it shows a link to open on your phone, you sign in with Philips in your normal phone browser (so the glasses-webview login block doesn't apply), and Herald keeps only the resulting tokens. Then toggle any bulb hands-free. No Home Assistant required.
Features
- Official Hue Remote API — sign in with Philips
- One-time link on your phone (no glasses login)
- Every bulb, on/off hands-free
- Tokens only — encrypted server-side, auto-refreshed
Good to know
- One-time Philips sign-in on your phone (companion)
- On/off control — not full colour scenes yet
- Needs Hue's cloud (Remote API) enabled on your bridge
- For Hue + Google + Alexa together, Home Assistant is one link
Data safety
No third-party sharing. Herald doesn't sell or share your data, and there are no ads or trackers.
Minimal collection. Only what a linked service needs — provider tokens are encrypted on Herald's server and never stored on the glasses.
Encrypted in transit. All traffic is HTTPS.
You're in control. Disconnect any linked service at any time from the companion.
